Companies with the Innovation Center to discover the Israeli ecosystem

Forward looking entrepreneurs are aware that innovation and technological development play a fundamental role in the transition to sustainable business models.

Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, alongside companies on their evolutionary path, organized the Climate Change & Innovation Tour in collaboration with the Israel-Italy Chamber of Commerce, which took place from 25 to 28 October 2022 in Israel.

Specifically dedicated to climate change, the tech tour has been organized by Vincenzo Antonetti - Head of Network Development of Innovation and saw the participation of corporate customers of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, such as IREN, Inewa and Agrati, and a delegation of Senior Managers of the Group's IMI CIB Division, who took advantage of this tech tour to enrich their technological skills. The delegation took part, among others, in the first event on Climate Change "Climate Solutions Festival" organized by Startup Nation Central, where more than 50 startups operating in the Climate Tech sector presented themselves. Numerous B2B meetings with cutting-edge Israeli technologies were organized within the event. Among the speeches, those of Vincenzo Antonetti and Ronni Benatoff, president of the Italy-Israel Chamber of Commerce.

The Israeli market is one of the most flourishing in the world in terms of innovation and today counts 700 technology companies with numerous applications in very interesting sectors, such as Carbon Capture, new materials, energy efficiency and green buildings. The aim of the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center Tech Tours is to raise awareness among Italian companies on environmental and business challenges in compliance with SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) standards, promoting technological experiments with Israeli excellence. Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center with Israel has generated to date over 25 POCs (prototypes) with Fintech technologies, numerous tech scouting activities for customers (also through Tech Tours) in the Smart Transportation, Agritech, Energy, RetailTech and Climate Change sectors Since the beginning of 2022, through its subsidiary Neva Sgr, Innovation Center has invested a total of over 20 million euros in Israel in five start-ups in the IT sectors with vFunction, Quantum Computing with Classiq, Agri-Foodtech with Seed-X, Cybersecurity with Cyberint and Coro.In its role as an 'ecosystem aggregator', the company looks to the best international technologies to attract them to the domestic market, launch experiments with corporates, universities and local stakeholders, with the aim of creating a fertile environment in terms of innovation.
