SMUSH Materials has been selected within the Terra Next acceleration program dedicated to the bioeconomy sector; it is concerned with transforming mainly agricultural products into packaging biomaterials - totally natural, circular and biodegradable -  thanks to a fungal fermentation process. The packaging, which is customizable, can be used by companies as an alternative to expanded polystyrene and disposable plastics in current packaging.
