Decarbonization 2023

The Report analyzes the industry situation of cement plants or steel mills that have a high carbon footprint in their production processes.

Carbon offsetting will be a key part in all net zero goals for companies. Carbon offsetting refers to the mechanism by which a company or organization that is unable to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions at source can purchase "carbon credits" and thus offset its emissions by financing emission reductions elsewhere in the world.

Investments in facilities and technologies to reduce emissions at source are often large and expensive, so many organizations and companies prefer to take advantage of the carbon offset mechanism and invest in emission reduction projects around the world.
