The AI4Automation & Physical Processes Call is open to Italian and international startups and innovative SMEs offering Artificial Intelligence, automation and robotics solutions that are easy to implement, scalable and interoperable with existing systems.
The programme begins with a scouting and application collection phase, followed by the evaluation of the most promising solutions. The companies with the greatest potential will enter an assessment phase, at the end of which the finalists participating in the Demo Day will be selected.
During the Demo Day, selected companies will present their solutions to the Business Unit Managers and the Top Management of the Iren Group. The objective will be to explore potential technological synergies through pilot projects or Proofs of Concept, commercial collaborations and Corporate Venture Capital investments.
The Call is particularly focused on solutions that combine intelligent software, robotics, autonomous systems, AI agents, advanced industrial automation and cyber-physical technologies, featuring ease of implementation and interoperability with existing systems.
Particular attention will be given to technologies capable of increasing the operational autonomy, safety, resilience and productivity of people, processes, plants and infrastructures. At the same time, solutions that improve operational efficiency, service quality and the circular use of resources will be particularly valued.
