The new Terra Next call is open for startups in the Bioeconomy sector

The second call for startups of Terra Next, the acceleration program for startups and innovative SMEs operating in the bioeconomy sector, was launched on 19 January. Terra Next is part of the CDP National Accelerator Network, a network present throughout Italy with the aim of supporting the growth of specialized startups in the most promising markets.

Created by CDP Venture Capital, Terra Next sees the participation of Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center as co-creator and promoter and the support of Cariplo Factory, which operationally manages the programme. The accelerator has an initial budget of around 3.8 million euros allocated by the Accelerator Fund of CDP Venture Capital and around 1.3 million allocated by Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center and partners.

The accelerator is designed on a 3-year timeline and every year a path is launched which selects up to a maximum of 10 startups. Those sought after in this second call, which will remain open until 26 February, operate in the sectors of Nutraceuticals, Circular & bio-materials and Regenerative Agriculture. As in the previous edition, the selected innovative realities will carry out the acceleration program on the Campus of San Giovanni a Teduccio in Naples, during next spring.
