The Innovation Coffees are events organized by the Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center dedicated to the discovery and dissemination of the culture of innovation. During the meetings, frontier topics are presented: latest generation technologies, innovative startups, insights by innovators, new forms of communication and presentation of cutting-edge tools for all Group colleagues.

ABSTRACT

With his dissertation defense, Edoardo was the first graduate in the Metaverse. Thanks to the help and complicity of Michele Cornetto, professor at the University of Turin, they managed to give life to an event that brought to the center of media interest a theme as curious as it is complicated: the Metaverse. The rapid spread of metaverses is driving companies around the world, including those in non-tech industries, to delve into the range of opportunities that virtual worlds can offer for customer engagement, brand expansion and above all generate new revenue streams .

For this reason, the two, together with partners Umberto and Giulio, decide to found the Wando Agency, to help brands and people understand and communicate within the Metaverse.
But what is the Metaverse? What are its opportunities? Why are so many companies investing money in this innovation?

The first thesis discussed in the Metaverse paved the way and brought the world of education and technology closer together. It has also placed the issue at the center of public opinion, bringing the Italian market to a high level of interest compared to other countries.
