Agriculture, Food & Beverage - Safety and Sustainability in the Food Supply Chain
The report divides the food supply chain into 3 main phases: production, transportation and waste management. In this context the two fundamental aspects which we find are safety and sustainability. A sensitive point regarding safety is that of food preservation, especially during distribution and storage.
Sustainability, on the other hand, involves all the phases of the chain, but in particular that of production, with the use of natural substances such as bio herbicides and bio fertilizers, or of transportation with packaging or finally of managing waste through its use.
