Terra Next - Scale Up Program

The fourth edition of the bioeconomy acceleration program dedicated to innovative startups and SMEs has begun. Terra Next is part of the CDP Venture Capital National Accelerator Network and includes the participation of Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center as co-creator and promoter, as well as the support of Cariplo Factory, which manages the program operationally. After three years of activity, Terra Next is evolving into a Scale-Up Program: a pathway designed to support bioeconomy startups in their most important challenge — structuring, growing, and expanding internationally.

This edition introduces the participation of Nestlé, a corporate partner offering startups opportunities for dialogue and concrete development.
The Scale-Up Program, in addition to a dedicated track for innovative ventures selected from previous editions, launches a Call4Startup, aimed at startups and innovative SMEs established in Italy or abroad, with a validated solution and a dedicated team, addressing specific innovation needs of the corporate partner Nestlé in three key areas of the bioeconomy: CIRCULAR & BIO-MATERIALS, REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE, INTEGRATED NUTRACEUTICALS.

Selected startups will gain access to a structured growth program, interact with corporate partners, develop practical collaborations, and embark on an internationalization journey.
The program is structured into three phases — Prepare & Assess, Plan & Connect, and Engage & Execute — and will also include international missions to innovation hubs such as Slush.
The Call for the Program dedicated to the Integrated Nutraceuticals, Circular & Biomaterials, and Regenerative Agriculture segments is open until December 19. A dedicated Selection Board will review applications to identify up to three innovative startups that will have the opportunity to collaborate in the development of potential Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
