"Cities are the engine of change, and change starts with our cities." These words begin the interview with Claudia Foglietta, Councilor for Innovation, Ecological and Digital Transition, Mobility, and the Environment for the City of Turin, who opened the event for the "Landing in Torino Smart Destination" event, dedicated to recognizing the Piedmontese capital as an innovation hub.  

Claudia Foglietta explains that Turin has already confirmed its position as a key player in the change: with its recent recognition as European Innovation Capital and €1 million in funding, the Piedmontese capital has strengthened its role as an urban laboratory for cutting-edge solutions.

The Councilor reiterates that the strength of Turin's ecosystem is the result of a cohesive network of public and private actors, such as the Innovation Center, which enables concrete experimentation in the area. Turin was in fact the first city in Italy to test a self-driving shuttle, demonstrating how innovation can improve the quality of daily life.
