Immodrone and Inspectiondrone represent dynamic and innovative players in the Italian landscape of drones and artificial intelligence. Simone Russo (CEO & Co‑Founder) recounts the evolution of a project that began in 2014, when he first recognized the potential of drones for data collection and infrastructure inspections.

A central role in accelerating the innovative startups was played by Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center, which facilitated access to major clients, international events, and business opportunities. It proved to be a true springboard toward the international market, at a time when the Western world is facing the aging of infrastructures built between the 1950s and 1970s.
